Organic cotton is grown in a fair-trade project in Kyrgyzstan and certified by GOTS and IMO.

The wash cloths are manufactured in the UK. 

Wash with lighter colours on a usual cotton wash, we like to use a 40 degree wash but you can take it up to 90 degree if needed.

Pull into shape whilst damp.

You can rinse with hot water in between light use and leave to dry in between washes.

Yes, our wash cloths are unbleached and these are unique pieces of the cotton seed!

The Green Oasis works beautifully as a hot cloth cleanse, your skin will feel incredibly soft to touch and ready for your next step; equally that next step can be a few extra drops of green Oasis over a wet face, beautiful! 

The gorgeous oils and extracts are so moorish, you’ll not want to wipe it off!

Play around and enjoy the versatility of the green oasis, apply as a face moisturiser or get creative with some of the ideas we’ve thought of below: 

Blend an exfoliating powder with the oil and use it to exfoliate and nourish the skin, you can use your Salsii hot cloth to remove

Blend the balm with clays (kaolin, bentonite etc depending on your skin type) or add some ground fenugreek seed, black seed or henna leaves and apply as you would a mask. Leave on for 20 mins and remove with your Salsii hot cloth to remove.

Mix equal parts Green Oasis and raw honey for a complete DIY indulgence, you can chose to rinse off as you would a cleanser or leave on for 20 mins to let the
ingredients really get to work on your skin as a mask. Either hot cloth off or simply rinse with warm water if your skin needs extra moisture.

Don’t worry! It happened to me too…

If your skin has been used to conventional, mainstream beauty products or no products at all, switching to natural formulas may at times, trigger an adjustment period. 

Most of you may not experience anything out of the ordinary but some of you may experience some breakouts in the first week or so. If this happens, continue to
use for 1 week and re-assess at that point. 

*And just check there’s no other factors which could be impacting your skin i.e. environmental changes, stress, sleep, dietary changes etc; our skin is the largest organ and internal shifts can manifest through the skin*

It could simply be the “skin transitioning” period which shouldn’t last longer than 1-2 weeks or it may be that the products are not suitable for your skin type. 

I’ll let you in to my own personal experience, so starting out on this journey, I tested many formulations as you would imagine! I hadn’t really “gone natural” before and my skin did break out in pimples around my lips and chin. 

I took the advice from our Salsii formulator to only use one product, strip everything back (I used one Salsii product and olive oil for everything else). Assess after a few days and reintroduce slowly, listen to your skin. 

After weeks it had indeed cleared and in fact, my skin felt softer, more even and generally brighter!

We love to extract the yummy goodness from a plant, herb or flower. We’re all about letting nature do it’s thing and that can sometimes be a process over weeks or months in order for us to achieve a cold pressed, slow extraction of henna, indigo or fenugreek. 

We can choose between different “mediums” ie water, oil, CO2 etc. We choose the medium based on the solubility of the properties we want to extract, so for example, henna extracts more potently in oil than it does water, which worked perfectly for the Green Oasis. 

Embrace it my friend! Each bottle is unique with different characteristics and this
specific change is due to the henna leaf. 

There are numerous factors, time of harvest, origin, season we extracted the herb and the age of the bottle, will all contribute to the colour differences.

Don’t worry, the goodness is all there and will not colour your skin.
